Terms of service

Last updated: 22 September 2026. These terms are a plain-language draft for the launch; have a lawyer review them before relying on them.

The service

BuddyBots provides AI teammates ("bots") that run tasks on a computer we host or you host, using models and apps you connect. You are responsible for what you ask bots to do, for the accounts you connect, and for reviewing their work before relying on it.

Accounts and organisations

You must be 18 or older. One person may belong to several organisations. Owners and admins can invite and remove members and manage billing; every member can see the organisation's bots, conversations and files.

Acceptable use

Do not use bots to break the law or the terms of the sites and apps they act on, to bypass security measures (including CAPTCHAs and rate limits), to harass or deceive people, or to collect personal data you have no right to. We may suspend organisations that do.

Billing

Paid plans renew monthly (or yearly) until cancelled from the customer portal. Credits reset each billing period and do not roll over. Overage is billed at the plan's rate up to the budget you set. Refunds for unused time are at our discretion except where the law requires them.

Your content

You own what you put in and what bots produce for you. You grant us the right to process it to run the service. We do not train models on your content.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the last 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect damages or for actions bots take on your instructions.

Changes and termination

We may change these terms with 30 days' notice by email. You may delete your organisation at any time from Settings → Data.
